Travelling from the United Kingdom

If you are arriving by air, a wide range of airlines fly into Alicante airport, which is just 10 kilometres from Santa Pola. A selection of both scheduled and low-cost airlines are shown below. Just click on any of the logos to connect to their on-line reservations pages.

Upon arrival, there are local taxis to take you to the apartment, but you may wish to hire a car and drive yourself. Alicante airport has car rental offices for the major fleets and it is often better to pre-book in the U.K. than wait until you arrive at the airport.

Taxi fare from Alicante to Santa Pola costs approx 22€.

In addition to flying, you may wish to extend your holiday by touring, and decide to drive down through the Spanish countryside. Brittany Ferries run regular ferries from Plymouth and Portsmouth to either Santander and Bilbao on Spain's northern coast, both approx 12 hours driving from Santa Pola.
